            Happy New Year to all of you that have found your way to our website.

           We wish to announce that we have begun a weekly teaching series in the Book or Revelation that will be available on our website. This teaching is presented in a home fellowship setting and contains 25 Lesson in both audio and PDF document format. Even though the series is weekly, there may be some gaps if our fellowship takes a break for holidays or other reasons.

           The Book of Revelation is a book that has been much neglected in these modern times. Many churches do not present it because they say it is too controversial, too scary, or too difficult to understand. To the contrary, we believe that if you follow along with us you will see this book come alive and make you aware of the approaching climax of history in the return of our savior Jesus Christ. You will become aware that, rather than a scary book, it is a book of victory for Christ and His church.

Proving Evolution

          Time magazine, 25 September 2009, published an article by Richard Dawkins, The Angry Evolutionists, in which Dawkins states that there are more people that believe in angels than in evolution.  Richard Dawkins is supposedly a very bright fellow; and I would have expected him to write some very profound article explaining why people should believe in evolution.  Instead, we got what appears to be a very frustrated intellectual, with preconceived biased ideas about evolution, the non-existence of God, and the stupidity of the creationist’ position.  In the article, Dawkins, instead of presenting an argument for acceptance of the truth of his ideas, presents a straw-man argument about the stupidity of the creationist.

           This is the very reason that evolutionists generally refuse to debate with scientists who are also creationists.  The debate often ends with an ad hominem personal attack on the character or qualifications of the creationist.  This is because the creationist can and does expose the many holes in the fabric of evolution that the evolutionists fail to adequately answer.  - Read The Rest

THE STAR OVER BETHLEHEM

Our latest publication, The Star Over Bethlehem, Signs in the Heavens, Part 1 of 2 presents an intriguing historical account that narrows down the birth date of Jesus to within 1-1/2 hours on a certain date. The birth date is derived from certain clues left by John in the Book of Revelation.

In Genesis 1:14-19 God made the great light givers that we see in our sky. The Sun and Moon are the prominent light sources for the earth. Then, almost as an afterthought, "He made the stars also." Besides being used to provide light, the Sun, Moon, and stars were for signs, for seasons, and for time keeping (Genesis 1:14-19).

God caused a written record to be made which contained the origin and history of mankind, the calling of a special people to carry His message, and prophecies of things to come until the end of the world. Moses penned the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament) about 1,500 BC, approximately 2,500 years after creation. E.W. Bullinger poses the question that since the world for more than 2,500 years was without a written revelation from God, "Did God leave Himself without a witness?" The Shroud 2009 Update

The newsletter, The Shroud and the Sacrifice, Volume 4, Issue 1, Jan-Mar 2000, has been updated for 2009 with the latest findings on the Shroud of Turin. It turns out that the scientific community has taken another look and found the 1988 carbon 14 dating is invalid for determining the age of the Shroud. It now appears that it is likely that the Shroud may indeed be of first century origin, and if so, may well be the burial shroud of Jesus. Read Full Article

Committing to Christ

"There are two paths that a person can choose in life. He may choose the path that is broad and whereon most of humanity finds their way. Or, he may choose the narrow path, where few men trod. The narrow path is considered socially unacceptable especially by today's very liberal standards. One path leads to destruction, the other path leads to eternal life. On which path are you?" This is the opening paragraph and theme of the current newsletter The Kingdom of God {Committing to Christ}, Volume 13, Issue 2, Spring 2009. Choosing the correct path is vital to your eternal security. The narrow path leads to eternal life, while the broad path, the one most travelled, leads to death. In the summer of 1975 both Mary and I chose to follow Christ. Part of our testimony is the subject of a previous newsletter, Born Again - What does it mean? An Overview of The Moneychangers

           In 1998 we wrote a series of three Newsletter articles under the title Money and the Control of Nations - The New World Order. These out-of-print articles are not yet available on our website, but will be at a later date. These three articles were eventually consolidated in 2001 under the title of The Moneychangers - 1, together with expanded content. That issue explained how bankers rule nations and the world through their debt-backed money. The Moneychangers - 2 followed that issue featuring the description of the death of a nation, educating the population for the new world order that was in the making, together with the final religious system.

           In 2008, The Moneychangers - 3 was presented in light of the current economic crisis and the historic presidential campaign. It discussed the ramifications of the current financial and political situation. It also looked at the eroding of our freedoms by looking at our ever increasing surveillance society.

            The Moneychangers - 4 released in 2009, identifies the moneychangers and describes how control of nations in the march toward world government is achieved. The plan to create a North American Union is described, including the regionalization of the world. - Read Full Article

The Importance of the Creation and the Flood?

Why should we study the subject of special creation by God? Many people answer this question by ignoring it. They simply think it is not important to their faith. Many believe that Genesis chapter 1 is mythological, and that science totally disproves the simplistic idea that God created from nothing. They believe that the arguments in support for evolution are too convincing and that they could not possibly understand how to refute them. Therefore, they say, we will just believe by faith.

Why should we study the subject of special creation by God? Simply put, the attack against Jesus Christ today begins with an attack on Genesis. If you are satisfied with the answer that “the Bible says it, therefore I believe it,” then, you will not be able to be an effective witness to many of the unsaved. Many want more of an answer than that. Many reject the Bible because they see mythology when they read the first few chapters of Genesis.

If you want a more satisfying answer than “the Bible says so,” then, you are encouraged to study this subject. At the end, you will say “Wow, now I have a reason to believe in special creation and the Flood. I no longer need to believe it happened simple because the Bible said so. It really happened as written in the Word of God, and now I know why and how.” - Read Full Article
